Virginia Tenth Congressional District Republican Committee

Dear Republicans,

I want to pass my congratulations to those successful candidates, of which there were many across the 10th Congressional District, who were victorious yesterday. And I want to offer my sincerest thank you to those who came up short at the polls. Win or lose, whoever puts their name and credibility on the line to run for office deserves a special thanks from all of us. Very few Americans ever have this opportunity, or even know what it takes, to put their name on the ballot and to ask their fellow citizens to place their trust in them in the voting booth. Candidates place their life on hold to devote their heart and soul, not to mention their time, energy, and financial resources to attain elective office. The strains placed on their families and on their jobs and careers are very great.
