Welcome to our new website.  We will be providing information about the Republican Party units in the district, our Republican candidates for office in upcoming elections, opportunities for volunteering to help the Republican Party and a calendar of events of interest to Republicans in the district.  We hope you will visit this website often and we will do our best to provide you with the latest information about Republicans in the 10th Congressional District of Virginia.

2010 is a great year for Republicans.  Our first order of business this year will be to re-elect our great Congressman Frank Wolf.  We will also be laying the ground work for a Republican sweep in 2011 when we will be electing our members for the Virginia House of Delegates, the Virginia Senate and local offices in many of the counties and cities within the 10 District.  We will be "PAINTING THE 10th RED"!

Frank WolfCongressman Wolf has a long record of solving problems facing both the 10th District and the nation.  Whether it is calling attention to the nation's growing debt and deficit, working to address the region's transportation needs or ensuring that our neighborhoods and schools are safe from violent gangs, he has never forgotten that he works for the people of the 10th District.  He returns home to the 10th District every night and his goal has always been to bring people to solve problems for the good of the country.  His pledge is to provide the region with honest, ethical and dedicated service that the people of the 10th District want and deserve.

(Ed. Note - this is the first in a series of "Spotlight on a 10th District Unit" articles which will rotate through this spot on the Home Page.)

The Clarke County Republican Committee is chaired by Kay Gunter.  The Committee has accepted the RPV/GOP challenge and is in an aggressive memberbship drive to double its membership.  The Committee has an active presence in the community with a table at the local farmers' market every Saturday and is planning to have a Republican booth at the Clarke County Fair.  The committee has two regularly scheduled meetings each month:

  • 2nd Wednesday "Dutch-Treat Social Gathering" at the Historic Battletown Inn on Main Street in Berryville from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm each month.  Join us for an evening of casual conversations about issues that concern Clarke County, Virginia and our Country.
  • 4th Wednesday Clarke County Republican Committee Meeting at the Joint Government Center, 101 Charmers Court, Berryville at 7:30 pm in the second floor conference Room.
